Jayanthi Ramasinghe
BA, MA, RSW
Jayanthi is a Registered Social Worker who is passionate about creating a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space where you feel heard and understood. Her approach is collaborative and paced, allowing you to move in a way that feels aligned with your needs and sense of safety. She brings compassion, empathy, and cultural sensitivity to her work, helping to build a strong sense of trust and connection.
She works with adults navigating anxiety, trauma, depression, PTSD, life transitions, stress, relationship challenges, and emotional overwhelm. Her goal is to support you in better understanding yourself, building a sense of stability and safety, developing coping strategies, and feeling more connected to yourself and others.
Her approach is trauma-informed, attachment-focused, and nervous system–aware. She draws from modalities such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), somatic approaches, Solution-Focused therapy, and compassion-focused therapy to support meaningful and lasting change.
Jayanthi believes that our experiences shape how we see ourselves and others, and that therapy can be a space to gently explore and shift patterns that no longer serve you. She also believes deeply in each person’s capacity for healing, and works to create a space where growth, insight, and change can unfold in a way that feels supportive and sustainable.
